These towels are in the Discovery Bay colorway and warped with 4 different blues and teals and a bit of gray. It’s 100% quality cotton and cotton bouclé and is easy care with machine washing and drying. Please keep in mind that this cotton continues to shrink just a tiny bit more and get softer with the first few washings.
 
The classic cotton kitchen towel….our most used and appreciated tool in all our kitchens. We can’t live without them! They wipe up messy spills, dry our dishes, catch crumbs, and clean precious children’s faces. These colorful towels were created for your home and family. I spent many hours combining the colors I thought would express my deep and abiding love of nature  around me, then winding the warp, putting it on the loom and then….the fun part…..weaving each towel. When the batch of towels is finished they’re washed, cut apart and each one hand hemmed. Then they’re washed and pressed again and ready for loving use in your home.
 
I’ve been using handwoven towels and napkins in my home for 7 years now and can’t imagine using anything else. It feels good to be honoring the earth by using towels that don’t end up in a landfill.
