These painful and troubling times weigh heavy on my heart. In an effort to balance all the hurt with some Love and Grace….I’ve been working on a design…..“Love Wins” kitchen towels. I know it’s past June Pride Month but in my heart and in our home EVERY moment of every day is about Love and Equality!!! 100% of the profits will be donated to our local Port Townsend Rainbow Center. Having just moved to PT I’m wanting to contribute in some small way to my new community. No one is free until we’re ALL free! HAPPY PRIDE!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💙🌈
 
These towels are 100% quality cotton and easy care with machine washing and drying. Please keep in mind that cotton continues to shrink just a tiny bit more for the first few washings.
 
The classic cotton kitchen towel….our most used and appreciated tool in all our kitchens. We can’t live without them! They wipe up messy spills, dry our dishes, catch crumbs, and clean precious children’s faces. These colorful autumn toned towels were created for your home and family. I spent many hours combining the colors I thought would express my deep and abiding love of all the autumn colors around me, then winding the warp, putting it on the loom and then….the fun part…..weaving each towel. When the batch of towels is finished they’re washed, cut apart and each one hand hemmed. Then they’re washed and pressed again and ready for loving use in your home.
 
I’ve been using handwoven towels and napkins in my home for 5 years now and can’t imagine using anything else. It feels good to be honoring the earth by using towels that don’t end up in a landfill. And my towels look just as nice as they did when new and they’ve become softer and more absorbent with each washing

All weaving is done by me on my lovely Louet David floor loom in my smoke-free but dog friendly home in the beautiful PNW.
