These skeins are full of wonderful autumn colors.....rusts, sagey greens, golden yellows, rich purples and lots of warm browns! I love spinning all BFL but the Mixed BFL has my heart....Mixed BFL is a blend of the natural white and natural black blue face Leicester. The colors are lightly blended and give rich, deep tones to all the colors. These skeins are delightfully soft and the Mixed BFL adds a bit of rustic vibe and depth of color to the overall skeins.

Knitting with Handspun yarn is such a delight and Blue Faced Leicester is my all time favorite fiber to spin and knit with. It's sturdy yet soft and is perfect for many projects with just a bit of nice drape. For many it's next to skin soft and it's my first choice for baby and children's knits as well as for adults.
 
Handspun yarn is, by nature, one of a kind and imperfect. All yarns are spun by me on my sweet spinning wheels in my smoke-free but dog friendly home in rural Utah and then soaked in a lovely lavender wash, dried and re-skeined and are ready to knit your treasures. My finished skeins are measured after drying and yardage is approximated to the best of my ability. Your gauge may vary when working it up. I always recommend swatching for gauge and colorfastness when working with hand dyed products. Some dye run-off may occur with the initial washing of hand dyed goods though my handspun is soaked before drying to minimize that.

I do my best to accurately photograph my yarn but monitors may differ. All my photos are taken outside in natural light. Please contact me with any questions before you purchase the yarn.
