Such wonderful rich colors.....from the dyer's notes: "Zenith is a fun colorway of rich teals, natural ecru, warm purples, and burnt oranges." And it's handpainted on soft, wonderful Corriedale wool giving it a wonderful depth and richness to the finished color. This Corriedale is considered a medium wool and I find it perfect for my handknit socks. There's nothing quite like knitting with 3 ply handspun........the yarn is round, plump and full of squish....and gives great stitch definition. I prefer to use a 3 ply for my handspun socks and this skein was spun with socks in mind.
 
Handspun yarn is, by nature, one of a kind and imperfect. All yarns are spun by me on my sweet spinning wheels in my smoke-free but dog friendly home in the beautiful PNW and then soaked in a lovely lavender wash, dried and re-skeined and are ready to knit your treasures. My finished skeins are measured after drying and yardage is approximated to the best of my ability. Your gauge may vary when working it up. I always recommend swatching for gauge and colorfastness when working with hand dyed products. Some dye run-off may occur with the initial washing of hand dyed goods though my handspun is soaked before drying to minimize that.

I'm happy to take orders for custom spinning for that special project. I have a large group of fibers you can choose from or you can purchase fiber elsewhere and have it sent to me. You'll pay for the cost of the fiber and the custom spinning.
