This colorway was enchanting....cider red/brown with bits of sagey green and gold, cinnamon brown......and handpainted on lovely Organic Polwarth/Silk.  Polwarth is a soft fiber similar to merino but with extra poofiness and the added bonus of this fiber being Organic is a plus. Then add in the 20% silk and you have a skein of squishy handspun that's amazingly soft and luxurious. Knit it up into a wonderful gift for someone special or even for yourself. 
 
Handspun yarn is, by nature, one of a kind and imperfect. All yarns are spun by me on my sweet spinning wheels in my smoke-free but dog friendly home in the beautiful PNW and then soaked in a lovely lavender wash, dried and re-skeined and are ready to knit your treasures. My finished skeins are measured after drying and yardage is approximated to the best of my ability. Your gauge may vary when working it up. I always recommend swatching for gauge and colorfastness when working with hand dyed products. Some dye run-off may occur with the initial washing of hand dyed goods though my handspun is soaked before drying to minimize that.
