Notes on color by the dyer: "Dragonfly is a swirl of deep purples and orchids, navy and slate blues, teal, and green with a tinge of gold. It’s hand-painted on a gorgeous blend of 40% merino, 40% superwash merino, and 20% tussah silk. Dye strikes each of the three fibers differently--the untreated merino has softer tones, the superwash merino is brighter and deeper, and the silk is gleaming and eyecatching--giving your yarn a subtle heathered look." And I have to say I love spinning this fiber blend!
 
Handspun yarn is, by nature, one of a kind and imperfect. All yarns are spun by me on my sweet spinning wheels in my smoke-free but dog friendly home  in the beautiful PNW and then soaked in a lovely lavender wash, dried and re-skeined and are ready to knit your treasures. My finished skeins are measured after drying and yardage is approximated to the best of my ability. Your gauge may vary when working it up. I always recommend swatching for gauge and colorfastness when working with hand dyed products. Some dye run-off may occur with the initial washing of hand dyed goods though my handspun is soaked before drying to minimize that.

I'm happy to take orders for custom spinning for that special project. I have a large group of fibers you can choose from or you can purchase fiber elsewhere and have it sent to me. You'll pay for the cost of the fiber and the custom spinning.
