Elegant simplicity, these lovely handwoven table runners can be used to dress up your table or as a dresser scarf on a beautiful piece of furniture or anywhere else you want to add some simple adornment. I wove them with a plain natural warp and then added in a splash of color with the weft in the classic birdseye twill pattern.
 
I spent many hours winding the warp, putting it on the loom and then….the fun part…..weaving each runner. When I finished the weaving they were removed from the loom, and the ends of the fringe were hand twisted for durability and a more finished look than plain fringe. Then they’re washed and pressed and ready for loving use in your home.
 
I’ve been using handwoven creations in my home for 4 years now and can’t imagine using anything else.  These runners will look just as nice as they did when new and will become softer with each washing.
 
This runner has a natural colored warp and a rich sunflower yellow weft woven in pattern and a finished size of 12” x 44” (including 3" fringe on each end). It’s 100% quality cotton with easy care and can be machine washed and dried. Although anything made by hand will last longer if hand washed and laid flat to dry. Please keep in mind that cotton continues to shrink just a tiny bit more for the first few washings.
