This bowl was lovingly made from a beautiful piece of a Wild Cherry tree on our property that we had to trim due to safety issues. Bitter Cherry is a Northwest native tree that's named for the formation of 3/8” long red fruit which are juicy but bitter. Also known as Wild Cherry. This tree grows from British Columbia to California, and east to the Rocky Mountains. This tree grows on the both sides of the Cascades crest and at the coast in Washington. Its wood can be highly polished and is used to make fine furniture and is prized for turned items such as bowls. Please enjoy the organic vibe of this bowl. These photos show the exact bowl you'll receive. I photograph each one individually.

Bring a rustic piece of nature and the forests of the PNW into your home! This Wild Cherry bowl is handmade by my husband in his woodshop or sitting outside in our forest carving, sanding, cleaning and finishing.

All of our wood pieces are hand carved or hand turned and may be perfectly “imperfect” which is exactly what we love about them. Every piece is unique and no two will ever be alike. Different woods make them look even more unique.
