This luxurious skein of handspun is full of the colors of the sea....deep blue, bright aqua, pale blue with splashes of warm sandy golds for fun. It's handpainted on superwash merino wool with added silk and has a most beautiful sheen. This fiber is amazingly soft and drapey and would make the most stunning knit!!!
 
Handspun yarn is, by nature, one of a kind and imperfect. All yarns are spun by me on my sweet spinning wheels in my smoke-free but dog friendly home in the beautiful PNW and then soaked in a lovely lavender wash, dried and re-skeined and are ready to knit your treasures. My finished skeins are measured after drying and yardage is approximated to the best of my ability. Your gauge may vary when working it up. I always recommend swatching for gauge and colorfastness when working with hand dyed products. Some dye run-off may occur with the initial washing of hand dyed goods though my handspun is soaked before drying to minimize that.
 
I do my best to accurately photograph my yarn but monitors may differ. All my photos are taken outside in natural light. Please contact me with any questions before you purchase the yarn.
