Squishy and soft and full of deep, rich autumn shades....cranberry reds, dark reds,deep browns and tans....and  splashes of gorgeous golden sunflower yellows in this fun skein of handspun! Merino is the old stand-by wool.....often the one you see in store bought knits......it's incredibly soft and can be easily worn around the neck. It has a tiny even crimp that generally runs the whole length of each fiber, making a lofty, springy yarn once spun. I have to say I envisioned these skeins in a sweet baby set? 
 
Handspun yarn is, by nature, one of a kind and imperfect. All yarns are spun by me on my sweet spinning wheels in my smoke-free but dog friendly home in rural Utah and then soaked in a lovely lavender wash, dried and re-skeined and are ready to knit your treasures. My finished skeins are measured after drying and yardage is approximated to the best of my ability. Your gauge may vary when working it up. I always recommend swatching for gauge and colorfastness when working with hand dyed products. Some dye run-off may occur with the initial washing of hand dyed goods though my handspun is soaked before drying to minimize that.

I'm happy to take orders for custom spinning for that special project. I have a large group of fibers you can choose from or you can purchase fiber elsewhere and have it sent to me. You'll pay for the cost of the fiber and the custom spinning.
