Deep, rich blues, teals, purples with splashes of greens and browns for a bit of contrast are handpainted on a lovely blend of Lt. Grey Shetland/Falklands Merino/Silk (50/25/25) in this oversized skein of handspun. This wonderful wool blend is a mix of sturdy wool and lots of softness from the merino and silk!
 
Handspun yarn is, by nature, one of a kind and imperfect. All yarns are spun by me on my sweet spinning wheels in my smoke-free but dog friendly home in the beautiful PNW and then soaked in a lovely lavender wash, dried and re-skeined and are ready to knit your treasures. My finished skeins are measured after drying and yardage is approximated to the best of my ability. Your gauge may vary when working it up. I always recommend swatching for gauge and colorfastness when working with hand dyed products. Some dye run-off may occur with the initial washing of hand dyed goods though my handspun is soaked before drying to minimize that.

I do my best to accurately photograph my yarn but monitors may differ. All my photos are taken outside in natural light. Please contact me with any questions before you purchase the yarn.
 
I'm happy to take orders for custom spinning for that special project. I have a large group of fibers you can choose from or you can purchase fiber elsewhere and have it sent to me. You'll pay for the cost of the fiber and the custom spinning.
