This wonderful handmade Birch Orifice Hook for Spinning Wheels was hand turned by my husband on his lathe from wood scraps that were gifted to us from friends living in Wisconsin. The hook itself is bronze and the eye at the top is brass. I love how the shape of this wood hook fits so nicely in my hand. 

I've added a hanger of various gemstones and beads. You can choose between the Earth Bead Collection (photos in other Hook listings) which includes gorgeous earth tone gemstones and beads including several Jasper stones, Jade, Wood and Tibetan Agate or the Ocean Bead Collection which includes gemstones and beads in colors of the sea including Russian Amazonite, Lapis, Turquoise, Lavenderite, African Opal, Jade, Amethyst, Chrysocolla and Apatite. Hang your Orifice Hook on your wheel and keep it handy and adorn your wheel at the same time. 

Finished size for the hook itself is 6 1/2 inches long x 1 5/8 inches wide. The beaded hanger can be removed if desired with the clasp at the top and adds an additional 7 inches to the overall length. The photos show the exact wood hook you'll receive but here will be some variance in the beads as is the nature of the stones but all are beautiful pieces of earth/sea colors.
