When I first picked up knitting needles again after many years, Karen entrusted me with two skeins of her beautiful handspun 3-ply Satori colored yarn. I felt like I had grabbed brass rings. I kept the yarn in my tub vault, waiting for the perfect pattern. I never have found that pattern, but know that it is time that I knit up this yarn and enjoy it in a shawl.
