Such soothing colors in this lovely skein.....teals, aquas, sandy tans, soft grays....and all handpainted on superwash merino wool with just 10% nylon added for strength. This fiber is lovely soft and squishy and with the fiber being superwash it's perfect for that treasured handknit that might end up in the washing machine.
Handspun yarn is, by nature, one of a kind and imperfect. All yarns are spun by me on my sweet spinning wheels in my smoke-free but dog friendly home in the PNW and then soaked in a lovely lavender wash, dried and re-skeined and are ready to knit your treasures. My finished skeins are measured after drying and yardage is approximated to the best of my ability. Your gauge may vary when working it up. I always recommend swatching for gauge and colorfastness when working with hand dyed products. Some dye run-off may occur with the initial washing of hand dyed goods though my handspun is soaked before drying to minimize that.
I do my best to accurately photograph my yarn but monitors may differ. All my photos are taken outside in natural light. Please contact me with any questions before you purchase the yarn.
I'm happy to take orders for custom spinning for that special project. I have a large group of fibers you can choose from or you can purchase fiber elsewhere and have it sent to me. You'll pay for the cost of the fiber and the custom spinning.
