Such deep, amazing colors....purples, lavender, reds, greens, blues and soft grays and all handpainted on a wonderful wooly blend of UK Mixed BFL and Silk. This blend has that wooly feel and yet with the 25% silk it has some nice softness to it too. The Mixed BFL gives it a heathered and moody look to it and adds a bit of rustic vibe and depth of color to the overall skein. This skein is huge....basically the equivalent of 1.5 skeins weighing 6 full ounces.
 
Handspun yarn is, by nature, one of a kind and imperfect. All yarns are spun by me on my sweet spinning wheels in my smoke-free but dog friendly home in rural Utah and then soaked in a lovely lavender wash, dried and re-skeined and are ready to knit your treasures. My finished skeins are measured after drying and yardage is approximated to the best of my ability. Your gauge may vary when working it up. I always recommend swatching for gauge and colorfastness when working with hand dyed products. Some dye run-off may occur with the initial washing of hand dyed goods though my handspun is soaked before drying to minimize that.

I'm happy to take orders for custom spinning for that special project. I have a large group of fibers you can choose from or you can purchase fiber elsewhere and have it sent to me. You'll pay for the cost of the fiber and the custom spinning.
